As a "pooler" in our student pool and extra resource in office services, you will support our entire operation and our offices. For many of our customers, you will be the first person they meet when they come to us or reach out, and you will also ensure that everything runs smoothly for everyone working here. World-class service is therefore your most important mission!

About the job

You will act as the spider in the web internally, the pace is high, and good collaboration within the team and with other departments is very important. The job is varied and involves both physical and administrative tasks. Challenges may arise in everyday life that need to be handled quickly.

More specifically, the job includes:

• Customer service at the reception, switchboard, and via email.
• Mail handling and validation.
• Meeting and event preparations, big and small.
• Transport, moving furniture or boxes.

We want to offer you as a student a job that gives you a foot in the labor market while you study. In addition to gaining practical experience and skills that can complement your CV, you will build your network and gain references for the future. We hope for a long-term relationship and prefer that you have at least 1.5 years left of your studies, as this gives us a better opportunity to provide you with the development and experience required.

You will work as a part-time employee as needed, which means we primarily need you during illness, vacation, or other absences. During the summer, this means you will work full-time for several weeks during the vacation period. Since there is much to learn to become independent, you need to be able to work regularly and quite intensively during your introduction. We will, of course, try to adapt the schedule to your studies as much as possible – but it is important that you have the capacity to work. The work takes place during daytime on weekdays and is located at our office at Muningatan 1 in Uppsala.

Since the tasks are varied and often event-driven, it requires you to have a flexible, unpretentious, and solution-oriented attitude and the ability to prioritize.

You are communicative and can collaborate with different types of people while being able to work independently and be meticulous in tasks that require high quality. You understand the importance of a representative approach regarding yourself, our premises, and how we communicate. Since we want to meet all our customers in the best way possible, we view positively if you speak more languages than Swedish and English.

We prefer that you have previous experience in customer service or work in reception/switchboard or office services. You are quick to learn how to handle our switchboard system or other support systems. Today, you are a proficient user of Office programs.

As the job involves driving, you need a B driver's license.
