The Environmental Department is part of the Community Building Administration. The municipality is located near Stockholm, making it a large city with a continued high pace of urban development. What Does the Work Involve?

Solna's size offers a varied range of tasks while allowing you to develop particularly in specific areas of work. We are curious about who you are, what you can do, and what you want!

The Environmental Department consists of about 25 employees and is made up of the four units of environmental protection, health protection, food safety, and environmental and climate. You will primarily work with the environmental protection and health protection units, so one of the managers of these units will be your closest supervisor.

Your main tasks will be within both health protection and environmental protection. We envision that you will, for example, inventory businesses, process various types of cases that come in such as information about new businesses, complaints, or inquiries. You will help follow up on previously conducted supervision, accompany supervision visits, and independently conduct supervision. You will also draft letters and decision-making documents.

More Information and Application

You will have a fixed-term employment according to the regulations for student assistants. Working hours will be limited to a maximum of 15 hours on average per week during the semester. How the time is scheduled will be agreed upon at the time of employment.
