LES (Laboratory Execution System) - Administrator - AstraZeneca - Södertälje - 7.5-month consultancy assignment

The assignment involves working with the project manager and the rest of the team to deliver the 1Lab project on schedule, which means that QC at SBC has implemented all its existing methods in 1Lab by 2025. The first part of the assignment will be to get into the role and be trained in the various tasks, some training will be conducted by English-speaking colleagues. Experience with and aptitude for computerized systems, as well as QC operations, are important success factors. Furthermore, it is desirable to have experience working on projects with clear expectations for delivery according to the project plan. In addition, one needs to be meticulous, solution-oriented, and creative in finding the best way forward.

Local Admin Role

Administer the 1Lab system at QC SBC. Main tasks include:

• Connecting instruments to the 1Lab system.
• Testing new methods to be added to the system.
• Training users in the system.
• Managing and adding new chemicals and preparations to the system.
• Assisting users in the system with problems and troubleshooting.

Global Admin Role

• Building and updating analytical methods (recipes) in the 1Lab system to follow analytical processes in the lab and data input requirements.
• Managing and maintaining master data in 1Lab in Development, Pre-Production, and Production environments.
• Translating lab analyses into step-by-step methods in 1Lab, including connections to instruments and data fields that need to be populated to support testing.
• Creating and reviewing test scripts for data validation in the system.
• Collaborating with external contractors and global 1Lab admins to drive the work forward.
• Supporting the harmonization of processes in 1Lab with other company sites globally.

Requirements for the Role:

• Good knowledge of English
• Experience with and aptitude for computerized systems (LES systems are highly desirable)
• Experience in QC operations and quality control
• Desirable: experience working on projects with clear expectations for delivery according to the project plan.
