Kattrumpstullen Care and Nursing Home is aimed at individuals with dementia or those who, for physical reasons, require care and support around the clock due to somatic illness.

At Kattrumpstullen, there are a total of 97 apartments (with 84 places open) spread over 5 floors, located high up on Roslagstullsbacken with a fantastic view over Vasastan and Östermalm. We focus on the individual based on applicable laws and guidelines. The operation has high quality goals and works to create a residence where the elderly experience safety, well-being, and meaningfulness.

Your role

As a licensed nurse, you will work in a team around the elderly where you contribute your specialist competence in care. Together with your colleagues, you will plan and organize care and work for good nursing and health care based on individual needs. We work person-centered and assume that everyone has something to contribute.

The work involves both urgent and planned interventions, which means you need to be able to make independent decisions. The job requires flexibility and independence. You take an active part in our joint work and our development work to achieve our set goals. In the evenings and weekends, you will be the team leader for the entire operation, and you must have the ability to prioritize and work based on the needs of the operation.

Your qualifications and experience

You need to:

• be a licensed nurse
• have good experience in documentation. We document in Vodok
• have good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing

It is an advantage if you have:

• further education as a district nurse
• Silvia nurse or equivalent specialist training in elderly care
• experience working as a nurse in elderly care

We are looking for someone who has a good sense of quality, collaboration, and a professional approach. You contribute to a good atmosphere, are responsible, provide a good reception, and enjoy working with the elderly. The work requires flexibility and independence. You have problem-solving and analytical skills and make decisions with a holistic view based on the best interests of the operation. We will place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Other

The position is during days, evenings, and weekends.

To work with the City of Stockholm with the elderly and people with disabilities in their homes, you must present an extract from the criminal record register. The extract must not be older than 6 months from the date of issue.
