We are now looking for a licensed teacher for grades 4-6 who wants to become part of our team. Dalsjöfors is located about 15 minutes from Borås city center. Buses run frequently, every 15 minutes.

The middle school has a principal and an assistant principal who also oversees a KSU group. We have three parallel classes with about 24 students in each class in the middle school. The school is a workplace with a positive and engaged atmosphere and a drive for the students' best interests. With us, you have great opportunities to develop in your role. (The high school has its own principal and assistant principal.)

As we approach the school year 25/26, we will continue our development work together in the middle school. We have started an in-depth development process together regarding both goal fulfillment and values. This is led by the principals as well as two lead teachers and two process leaders. We work in regular conferences together, both collegially and cooperatively.

Music Teacher for Grades 4-6 at Dalsjöskolan

Job Responsibilities

In this position, you will be a music teacher for grades 4-6 in the middle school as well as in another subject, preferably in one of the science subjects or technology. In your work, you will plan, implement, and evaluate your teaching both individually and together with your colleagues.

You will be part of a team for the middle school where you learn from each other and solve challenges together.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has a teaching license with the qualification to teach music in grades 4-6.

As we are a three-parallel school where the staff works closely together, it is important that you are a good team player who is skilled at collaborating with your colleagues with the students' goal fulfillment as the primary, shared focus. You are a competent teacher who is confident in your leadership. By working with clarity and building good relationships with the students, you contribute to a positive learning environment that provides the conditions for students' knowledge development.
