JOB DESCRIPTION

We are now looking for a relative supporter who wants to help continue developing the municipality's support for relatives!

Support for relatives is aimed at those who care for a loved one who is elderly, chronically ill, or supports someone with a disability. As a relative supporter, you will work both strategically and operationally. Strategically, you will plan, monitor the external environment, and develop the ways in which relative support operates. Operationally, you will clarify the perspective of relatives in our operations, provide support to relatives through conversations, information, and advice individually or in groups, and organize activities within the relative support area such as lectures and training.

Working hours may vary based on the needs of the operations and may require availability both during the day and in the evenings.

QUALIFICATIONS

We expect that you, as an applicant, have the following:

• Higher education as a nurse, social worker, health scientist, behavioral scientist, or other education deemed equivalent by the employer.
• Experience in providing support to family caregivers through individual support conversations and leading support groups.
• Experience and competence in conducting supportive, reflective, and difficult conversations, as well as understanding the issues faced by relatives.
• Familiarity with monitoring the external environment and good knowledge of community support and services.
• Good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form.
• Driving license B.

You have the ability to work both independently and collaboratively with others, and you adapt your communication according to the recipient, target group, and situation.
