About the position

Our daughter turns 7 this year and needs help with most things in life. We are looking for someone who can be her arms, legs, and voice. She needs assistance with tube feeding and medication several times a day, hygiene, transfers, motor skills training, communication training, and activities that make her feel good. She enjoys playing, singing, going for walks, being close, and cuddling. The assistant will be with her every day in preschool, so a large dose of play is included in the job. Currently, there are no night shifts, only morning, day, evening, and weekend shifts as a substitute.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is social, cheerful, energetic, creative, willing to take initiative, and solution-oriented. The most important thing for us is that you fit well with our family. We consist of a mother, father, and three children, with our daughter being the middle child. We love being active and laughing, just as we appreciate peace and quiet at home. Experience with tube feeding is a plus, but not a requirement. It is also beneficial if you have worked as a personal assistant before or have a medical or educational background. You should have some experience with children. For you to thrive together, you need to have good judgment and be able to adapt to working closely in a family with integrity and respect. You should also be self-assured and meticulous regarding supervision and care. It is important that you are attentive to needs and emotional expressions when communication is limited. You should also be warm and empathetic. To be considered for the position, you must be proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written. A driver's license is required.
