Personal assistance is an intervention according to LSS (the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to individuals who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each customer is unique, and your tasks vary based on the customer's needs. You respect the customer's self-determination and integrity, and contribute to making everyday life run smoothly.

About the position

The role of a personal assistant places high demands on the ability to create good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take your own initiatives and see what needs to be done. The customer leads an active life and enjoys going to hockey games, walking with their dog, and taking trips with their adapted car.

We are now looking for someone who meets the following criteria:

• wants to work with a man in his 50s residing in Malung
• has a driver's license and access to a personal car (limited public transport to the customer)
• has good knowledge of Swedish
• is proactive and calm
• is not afraid of or allergic to dogs
• has good physical fitness and can perform transfers in the job
• is smoke-free during working hours

It is also advantageous if you:

• have experience in similar work
• share the customer's interests in animals and sports

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Working hours, employment rate, and salary:

The position is a summer temporary position from week 26-34 and is approximately 75-85%. The job involves working during the day, evening, and night on a rotating schedule both weekdays and weekends. The work includes 8 hours of on-call duty at night.

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other compensation is according to collective agreements.

Being employed at Humana

A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you can present valid ID and any documents that prove your right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.

According to legislation, we as employers are required to request a criminal record extract from all employees who will work as personal assistants for a child under 18 years old. Therefore, you will need to present an extract from the police's criminal record before a potential employment. Further information will be provided if you proceed in the recruitment process.
