Substitute and Summer Substitute

Starting in April, with the possibility of extension during the summer. Opportunity for a position as an hourly substitute afterwards.

I am an adult woman with autism spectrum condition living in Mora in my own home, and I am now looking for personal assistants to join my fantastic team who can work as substitutes. I am looking for people who can work various shifts throughout the day and all days of the year.

Due to my disability, I need structure and planning in my daily life, so it is important that you are clear in your communication, both verbally and through body language.

I enjoy being outdoors in nature, as well as spending time in my garden. I like outings and small road trips with my car, and during the summer I enjoy being at the beach.

You who are applying for the job need to be able to handle a lot of tasks during a work shift, but also be able to just sit and relax with me. I need someone who can compensate and help me with what I cannot manage on my own in life, and set aside their own needs during working hours.

I am looking for someone who:

• Has an organized life and inner security and stability
• Is punctual and keeps time
• Can express themselves in Swedish, both spoken and written
• Is creative
• Cheerful, attentive, and responsible
• Empathetic, patient, calm, and social
• Can follow verbal and written instructions
• Is meticulous and can handle household chores
• Is in good physical shape and can swim and bathe
• Has a mobile phone that is used daily but sets it aside during working hours
• Having a B driver's license is an advantage

It is an advantage if you have previous experience with autism and neuropsychiatric disabilities, but it is not a requirement. Personal chemistry is more important, as well as being attentive to the needs I have as a user of assistance. The ability to collaborate is also an important part since you will be working together with a colleague during shifts.

I expect you to see the assistant profession as a service profession and not as a healthcare profession. You will have your workplace where I am located, so you need to be flexible and also feel comfortable in places other than my home, as well as handle changes and new situations at work.
