Personal assistance is an intervention according to LSS (The Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to individuals who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each client is unique, and your tasks vary based on the client's needs. You respect the client's self-determination and privacy, and contribute to making everyday life run smoothly.

About the position

The role of a personal assistant places high demands on the ability to create good relationships. We are therefore looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take your own initiative and see what needs to be done. The client enjoys visiting the library and socializing with friends, as well as spending a lot of time outdoors with their dog.

We are now looking for someone who meets the following:

• wants to work with a woman in her 40s living in central Ludvika
• has good knowledge of Swedish
• has good physical condition and can perform transfers in the job
• is calm and patient as a person
• is not afraid of or allergic to dogs
• is smoke-free

It is also an advantage if you:

• share the client's interests such as dog walking and social activities
• have experience working as a personal assistant

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Working hours, employment rate, and salary:

The position is a summer temporary job from week 27-32 and is 100%. The job involves working on weekdays and weekends on a rolling schedule, and you will always work between 07:00-23:00.

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other compensation according to collective agreement.

Being employed at Humana

A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you can present a valid ID and any documents that prove your right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.

According to legislation, we as an employer are required to request a background check from all employees who will work as personal assistants for a child under 18 years old. Therefore, you need to present an extract from the police criminal record before a possible employment. Further information will be provided if you proceed in the recruitment process.
