Mora congregation offers an inspiring and pleasant workplace with ample room for your own initiatives. We are now looking for a dedicated and creative parish educator who wants to strengthen the educational activities in the congregation. We have three districts; Mora, Sollerön/Venjan, and Våmhus, which collaborate and support each other. The hospital chaplaincy is also included.

Your Responsibilities

As a parish educator, you will work with teaching and activities for children, youth, and adults. Today, we have a diverse range of activities throughout the year with lively church groups for the youngest, an active youth program with both confirmation groups and young leaders, several different meetings for adults, and we work with the concept of Messy Church. We also actively work with adventure confirmation classes in the summer, knight school, and inspiring pedagogy among our older congregation members. In Mora congregation, you will be involved in developing these activities, where there is ample room for creativity. You are an important part of the team in Mora congregation.

The position includes some evening and weekend work.

There is a great opportunity to influence the content of the position and contribute to our activities with your specific skills and interests. If you are interested in leadership, there is the possibility to combine your position with a role as district manager in the congregation.

Your Profile

You are an educated parish educator or have equivalent educational training. You have experience working with children and youth, but can also lead a discussion group for adults. Personal suitability is highly valued.

We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in people and who is passionate about making a difference. You easily connect with new people and lead groups. You see opportunities, create inclusive communities, and instill trust in your work. You are proactive, solution-oriented, can work independently, and want to be a team player. You are confident, structured, and have good endurance in your work.

Requirements for the position include good language skills in Swedish, where you can express yourself well in both speech and writing. A driver's license is an advantage.
