ICLD works to promote and strengthen local democracy in about twenty countries worldwide. Now you can become a part of us! We are looking for a quality, results, and evaluation manager for our office in Visby, Gotland.

The role is a central function at ICLD's knowledge center and, in consultation with the head of the knowledge center, is an active part of the department's development work. The role includes overall responsibility for quarterly follow-up of the operational plan and compilation of results for the annual activity report. This is done with active and close collaboration with the program department and alumni manager.

The role involves promoting the packaging of the field results of the operations into disseminable tools for more municipalities, where a systematic collaboration with partner organizations such as municipal associations in the cooperating countries is central to ensure dissemination and implementation of network results in more municipalities.

You are the focal point for the operations towards Sida and are responsible for ensuring that the annual report is compiled and submitted according to guidelines, with particular project responsibility for the narrative part of the management report and the complementary goal and results analysis. You will be part of ICLD's operational management group.

The role includes working closely with the research coordinator to drive and ensure the identification of good actors who can conduct the operations' follow-up surveys, and contribute to compiling the analysis material into useful tools and materials for the staff in the program department.

You have:

• A degree in global studies, international development and aid, international relations, political science, business administration, public administration, or an equivalent academic qualification assessed by us (Master's degree is an advantage)
• Analytical ability to summarize complex processes into concise and clear instructions and have worked with various forms of data analysis and quality assurance
• Documented experience in coordinating and contracting various stakeholders for follow-up and evaluation with the ability to quickly understand details to gain a holistic understanding
• Qualified administrative work and handling with a good ability to work structured and manage parallel tasks
• Good communication skills and the ability to express oneself fluently in both spoken and written Swedish and English
• Good system knowledge and proficiency in tools such as Excel and data collection tools

Employment type

Permanent employment based in Visby. Start date August 25. Travel in the service may occur.
