Gotlandsgruppen is looking for a person with experience and knowledge in logistics as well as the ability to manage multiple issues simultaneously. The goal is to create conditions for the Gotland Home Guard Battalion to solve assigned tasks in peace, crisis, and war.

Logistics Department Gotlandsgruppen

Gotlandsgruppen is part of P18 and is tasked with training, educating, and supporting the Home Guard and the Armed Forces' volunteer organizations in Gotland.

The Logistics Department, which is part of Gotlandsgruppen, leads the planning, implementation, and follow-up of logistics and support activities within Gotlandsgruppen to enhance the Home Guard's capabilities.

Main Responsibilities

• Material planning, inventory, and orders for the Home Guard Battalion.
• Maintain the material service for the Home Guard by assessing needs and moving materials both in the system and practically.
• Support the Home Guard with follow-up on personnel and materials.
• Care and transport of vehicles.
• Manage additional orders.
• Participate in material dialogues with voluntary defense organizations.

Qualifications

• Driving license category B.
• Good computer skills in the Office package.

We are looking for someone who has a good ability to independently and responsibly solve tasks. You are a good team player while also taking initiative and responsibility. You are loyal, flexible, and meticulous. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Meritorious

• Experience in logistics within the Armed Forces.
• Experience with LIFT/PRIO.
• Driving license category C.
• Forklift license.

Employment form (permanent). The Armed Forces applies a six-month probationary period.

The Gotland Regiment was re-established on January 1, 2018, to strengthen the Armed Forces' presence on the strategically important island. Since 2020, conscripts have been trained again at P 18, and the unit will gradually be given more capabilities during the period leading up to 2030.
