Administrator for Malmö Magistratsgymnasium

We are looking for a structured and committed administrator for Malmö Magistratsgymnasium, which will open for the autumn term of 2025. In this broad and varied role, you will become a key person in the school's daily operations and work closely with the principal to ensure smooth administration and school development.

Responsibilities

As an administrator at Magistratsgymnasiet, you will have a central and varied role where you support the school's principal and other staff. You will provide administrative support in areas such as student, staff, finance, information, and authority administration as well as management support (HR), while also performing general administrative tasks. Since the school is small, the position entails a broad responsibility where you will also handle scheduling, student registration, and financial administration, while being an important contact person for staff, students, and authorities.

You will have a varied workday where you handle both ongoing administrative tasks and more qualified assignments. Through collaboration with administrators at other high schools and at the administration, you will contribute to a common development and cooperation that strengthens the school's administrative work.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• High school diploma
• Previous experience in a similar role
• Experience in scheduling
• Good digital competence and ability to quickly understand new programs and systems
• Good knowledge of MS Office
• Proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written

Meritorious:

• Post-secondary administrative education
• Experience in administrative work within high schools or adult education
• Experience working within high school introductory programs or special education groups in primary school (grades 7-9)
• Experience in service work, such as customer service, reception, or similar
• Experience in student registration
• Experience in financial administration

We are looking for an administrator who is service-oriented and professional in interactions with staff, students, and guardians. As an administrator, you take responsibility for your tasks and feel comfortable working independently. You have a good ability to work in a structured manner and to plan, organize, and prioritize your tasks effectively. You have a positive attitude, are solution-oriented, and enjoy collaborating with others.

About the workplace

Malmö Magistratsgymnasium is a smaller school unit in central Malmö for students studying individual alternatives (IMA) or vocational introduction (IMY). A few places will also be available for students from other high schools who temporarily need a different placement. At Malmö Magistratsgymnasium, the individual student is at the center, and great importance is placed on contributing to future confidence, independence, and motivation.
