Do you want to help ensure order and clarity in a vital community service with a focus on sustainability? We are now looking for a confident and experienced registrar who wants to help drive the development of our registration, archive, and document management.
About the role
As a registrar with us, you have a central role in maintaining a legally secure and efficient handling of the company’s public documents. You are responsible for registration and archiving, and you are our specialist in the release of public documents – ensuring that this is done according to legislation and internal procedures.
The position also includes handling incoming and outgoing mail, both physical and digital, as well as responsibility for the company's document and case management system. You will have a significant mandate to develop our working methods and educate the organization on issues related to transparency, confidentiality, and document management.

We are looking for a senior registrar who thrives in the role of knowledge bearer and is used to working closely with management and supervisors. You have presence and integrity – and you dare to stand firm when legislation and practice require it.
Your role and responsibilities
- Archiving and registration of public documents
- Ensure correct and legally secure release of public documents
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail
- Educate and support the organization in document and case management as well as transparency and confidentiality
- Quality assure and develop routines and working methods within registration and archives
- Contribute with expertise in the digitization work
- Collaborate with the municipality's registration and archive organization

This is you
We are looking for someone who is structured, meticulous, and has high integrity. You have good pedagogical skills and can communicate and educate about transparency and confidentiality. You thrive in a role where you can work independently but also collaborate closely with colleagues and other stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Post-secondary education in registration, archival science, or information management, or other education or experience deemed equivalent
- Several years of experience working as a registrar, preferably within municipal operations or municipal companies
- Good knowledge of public access and confidentiality legislation as well as administrative law
- Pedagogical and confident in the role of educator and advisor
- Very good system skills and experience with digital case and document management systems
- Excellent ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing
- Experience with the release of public documents and comfortable making assessments according to OSL
- Used to working independently, driving development issues, and taking initiative.
Meritorious:
- Advanced education in public access and confidentiality legislation.
- Experience with archival issues and practical archive management.
- Experience educating on transparency and confidentiality in a municipal corporate context.
- Experience with system support related to archive management.
- Leadership qualities – you make things happen without being a manager
- Good reading skills in English.
Conditions and application
