About the Position

As the group manager for accounting, you will be responsible for leading the team in our internal accounting agency and ensuring that our franchisees receive the best possible delivery of accounting services.

In your role, you will work operationally with accounting for the company's parent company and additional companies in the group. You will ensure that our department heads have well-founded decision-making bases and analyses of their operations, and you will actively contribute to the dialogue regarding business development in the company. The department belongs to Garageportexpert's headquarters in Linköping – an employer where all employees receive a lot of personal responsibility and support each other in ensuring results. In your role, you will lead, plan, and develop the work with accounting services and provide support with advice and analysis. The services you support the franchise companies with include bookkeeping, monthly and annual financial statements, analyses and advice, preparation of annual reports, tax returns, and payroll.

As a group manager, you will also be responsible for development, market monitoring, and improvement within the accounting area and ensure that the department works consultatively and according to the prevailing industry regulations. Qualifications

We are looking for someone with solid experience in accounting and bookkeeping who has the ability to ensure that the numbers are correct and that the financial statements are flawless. You are interested in leadership, and if you do not have previous experience in a leadership role, this could be your next step. You can and want to motivate and guide your team to achieve common goals while maintaining a positive work environment with high engagement and activity.

At a minimum, you have a post-secondary education in finance/accounting and are well acquainted with laws and regulations in finance, and have good knowledge of accounting systems, preferably Visma Business, and tools. You are an experienced Excel user and possess good general IT skills. You have a good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both verbally and in writing. Experience with budgeting and group accounting is an advantage. You will work very closely with the other department heads at the headquarters and be an important part of contributing to their success by providing financial advice and analyses and ensuring that their financial decision-making bases are of high quality.

You have an eye for detail, are structured and systematic in your work style, and possess good pedagogical and communicative skills and are attentive. You have a high level of ambition and the ability to build teams and the willingness and interest to develop both people and work methods. You also have strong social skills and thrive in a dynamic environment with high energy where great value is placed on having fun together at work.

The position is based at Garageportexpert's headquarters in Linköping.
