We are now hiring a Payroll Team Leader for our client!

About the Role

As a Payroll Team Leader, you will be a central part of our client's payroll function. You will have overall responsibility for the payroll process, ensuring accurate handling of salaries and reporting, as well as providing support to your team of payroll specialists. You will have daily contact with managers, payroll, and finance departments, and be responsible for ensuring smooth and accurate payroll management. In addition, you will contribute to improving and developing internal payroll processes and routines.

Main Responsibilities

• Be responsible for and lead the entire payroll process.
• Perform checks in Excel, manage vacation lists, absences, and payroll item reviews.
• Ensure accurate reporting to authorities such as the Tax Agency, Enforcement Authority, and Social Insurance Agency.
• Handle employer declarations and reporting to Statistics Sweden.
• Act as support to your colleagues in the team and contribute to their development and learning.
• Actively monitor the external environment, following new laws and regulations that affect payroll management.
• Participate in HR and payroll projects, as well as drive and develop internal processes and manuals.
• Follow up and manage questions from managers and employees regarding salaries and collective agreements.

Your Experience

We are looking for someone with at least 3-5 years of experience in payroll work, preferably with experience working with collective agreements in sectors such as transport or construction. You have good knowledge of payroll systems, primarily AGDA, as well as Excel. Furthermore, you have experience leading a team or providing support to others. You should have a basic understanding of labor law and agreements and be accustomed to handling salaries for both collective and salaried employees.

It is also important that you are digitally savvy and have a desire to stay updated on new digital solutions and systems.

Communication skills in both Swedish and English are important for success in this role.
