Healthcare Strategist

We want to strengthen our team with an additional healthcare strategist focused on investigation, planning, and follow-up! You will be part of a team with experienced colleagues working on healthcare development at a strategic level.

About the job

As a healthcare strategist, you will conduct surveys, investigations, and qualified analyses of healthcare in Halland. You will compile and present relevant operational data, develop decision-making materials for management and governance, and prepare comprehensive documentation related to Region Halland's planning and follow-up process.

You will work in a well-established team alongside other dedicated strategists and analysts. You will present investigations and analyses both in writing and verbally, and participate in networks with municipalities, regions, and authorities.

About the workplace

The department has the overall responsibility for monitoring, analyzing, forecasting, and informing about the development of healthcare in Halland. We provide analyses and reports as a basis for decisions in political boards, committees, and regional management. We represent Region Halland in various national contexts. As a healthcare strategist, you will work in a developing environment alongside experts in various fields, and you will be an important part of Region Halland's planning and follow-up process.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a relevant university degree and experience in conducting qualified investigations/analyses/follow-ups.

To succeed in this role, you need to have a very good systems perspective, drive, initiative, collaboration skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to work independently. You are communicative with excellent knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing, and you have experience presenting analyses both verbally and in writing in a pedagogical and easily understandable manner.

It is particularly meritorious if you have:

• Experience in producing written documentation in complex areas
• Experience working in a politically governed organization
• Knowledge of follow-up and evaluation
• Knowledge of the healthcare system
