At Södra Cell, we offer a wide range of products in paper and dissolving pulp, created based on our customers' needs and with a sustainable society as a guideline. Through innovations and efficiencies, we ensure that our renewable raw material is used as climate-smart as possible. At our facility in Värö, with nearly 400 employees, we produce not only paper pulp but also green electricity, district heating, and bioproducts.

We are now looking for a Business Controller to take over from our current employee who is retiring. We are looking for someone with a strong business sense, who constantly challenges the current situation and has a genuine interest in organization and people.

This is what you will work with at Södra

In the role of Business Controller at Södra Cell Värö, you will be responsible for the operational financial activities and the forward-looking work in strategy and business planning processes. By continuously analyzing the business's cost outcomes and providing relevant data, you play an important role in both driving and influencing operational decision-making.

You will work closely with the production and maintenance organization and be part of the management team for Cell in Värö. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with the two other pulp mills in the business area and other finance functions within Södra.

You will also work with: - Preparing financial materials for budgeting and strategic work - Investment calculations and profitability analysis of facility development projects - Development and monitoring of key performance indicators for the business - Ongoing review and studies of revenues and expenses and based on this, propose changes that optimize the profitability of the business - Participation in development projects related to financial issues You will have two direct reports who work in accounting and administration. Under your leadership, you will work together to ensure financial information, present the information within the organization, initiate and participate in cost control, and drive the development of financial competence within the department and in the business. The position is a permanent full-time position, based in Värö.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone with an academic degree in business administration and several years of experience in strategic and process-oriented financial work and experience in driving development work.

You have a good business understanding, are results-oriented, and are used to working towards deadlines. With your analytical skills, you support and challenge the organization in important decisions, handling both strategic and operational tasks within your area of expertise.

As a person, you are self-driven with an analytical and strategic approach. You are communicative and have an easy time initiating and driving collaborations, which is important as you will have several contact points within the organization. You have a great interest in people and organizations and thrive in a role where you can lead and coach others. If you have experience as a manager or leader, we consider it an advantage.

We also see that you have: - A valid driver's license - very good skills in spoken and written Swedish and English - good experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365, BI tools, and Excel
