School of Information Technology

The University consists of four interdisciplinary schools, and the current position is located at the School of Information Technology (ITE). ITE is a multicultural school with around 130 employees from about twenty countries. It is a strong research and educational environment focused on smart technology and its applications. Here, students and researchers work on everything from AI and information-driven healthcare to self-driving vehicles, social robotics, and digital design. ITE offers education at the undergraduate, advanced, and doctoral levels, as well as professional development for practitioners. Research is conducted in conscious intelligent systems, smart electronic systems, cyber-physical systems, and digital service innovation. These four areas constitute ITE's four technology domains. The school also includes the innovation center Leap for Life and a collaboration arena for electronics development, the Electronics Center in Halmstad (ECH).

We are now looking for a part-time research coordinator for a fixed-term position of 7 months.

Job Responsibilities

As a research coordinator within CAISR Health, you will work closely with the management team for the profile. The work will primarily focus on the mid-term evaluation, which also includes contacts with our industrial partners. Furthermore, the work will involve planning and coordinating a smaller conference in connection with the profile's mid-term.

Qualifications:

You have experience working with project coordination in collaborations between academia and industry.
You have good communication skills both verbally and in writing, in both Swedish and English.
You are a proactive, analytical, and structured person who drives processes to completion and has a genuine interest in supporting the environment in its development.
A research background is an advantage.
Experience with research projects related to health where academia, industry, and healthcare meet is an advantage.
