Job Responsibilities

Working as a medical secretary at our health center involves an exciting variety of tasks where you have the opportunity to influence your own work situation.

The tasks include common responsibilities for a medical secretary at a health center, such as reception work and printing dictated material. Other administrative tasks will also be relevant.

About the Workplace

The Vårdcentralen Centrum Laholm has about 5,800 registered inhabitants. We are located right next to the Lagan river and have facilities with a fantastic view and proximity to the beach, exercise, golf courses, ski slopes, and beautiful nature. We currently have about 30 employees with various professions. In addition to medical consultations and planned appointments, we also have district nurse consultations, a laboratory, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, social work, and psychology consultations, as well as a rehabilitation team. We have well-developed specialist clinics for diabetes, asthma/COPD, and lifestyle. Our BVC is integrated into the family center in Laholm. The health center's mission also includes responsibility for special housing for the elderly. On weekends, we operate weekend consultations in our facilities where all healthcare units in Laholm participate. We consider quality and development to be important and aim to enhance them.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is a trained medical secretary. Knowledge of the Cosmic journal system and IT skills are advantageous.

To thrive in the role of medical secretary with us, you need to be able to work independently, be proactive and flexible, and have a pronounced service mindset with great engagement. The work requires excellent collaboration skills.

Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, is required. We work with computerized journals and several computerized support systems, so good computer skills are necessary.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
