The Education and Labor Market Administration is responsible for employment-promoting measures, integration issues, and education at the upper secondary and post-secondary levels. The role of development strategist belongs to the quality department within the Education and Labor Market Administration. The department is responsible for, among other things, committee administration, record-keeping and registration, quality and follow-up, communication, GDPR and information security, as well as local strategic issues.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The position focuses on coordinating and supporting operations in systematic quality work. You will have significant responsibility in the principal's systematic quality work and will work on producing documentation and analyses. You will closely collaborate with others to follow up and analyze the results and quality of the operations. The focus is on both quantitative and qualitative analyses, for example based on grading results and dialogues with the operations. You will play a leading role in the quality work where you, together with colleagues, plan, participate in, and document various processes in the quality work and present these to politicians, administrative management, and principals.

You will be an important part of the administration's office where your work will be both challenging and varied. The role includes conducting investigative assignments and producing decision-making documents on various issues based on needs. You will prepare and present decision-making documents for your immediate supervisor, management group, and political committee. As a person, you enjoy working in a team, and we value your ability to share knowledge with colleagues, while also being able to take your own initiatives and work independently when needed. You see solutions rather than problems and have a flexible attitude towards changes and new challenges.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a degree in social sciences or equivalent. You have experience in investigative work and in producing both quantitative and qualitative analyses. Experience in management and governance is also meritorious, such as process/project management or support to management groups/equivalents.

It is an advantage to have worked in public administration and with political committees. Experience from, or a good understanding of, schools is also meritorious.
