Healthcare and Care in Norrtälje (KSON)
Healthcare and Care in Norrtälje (KSON) is a unique collaboration between Norrtälje Municipality and Region Stockholm. The mission is to meet the health and care needs of the residents. KSON thus has unique conditions to seamlessly meet the residents' needs for effective comprehensive solutions and is governed by a board with elected representatives from Region Stockholm and Norrtälje Municipality.
About the Position
The position is located in the Authority Department, within the LSS unit. We are looking for another colleague to our LSS unit, which currently consists of 13 caseworkers and one unit manager. Within the LSS unit, we work with authority exercise focusing on processing cases under the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons (LSS) and the Social Services Act (SoL).
We are now seeking an LSS caseworker for a permanent position. You will collaborate closely with other LSS caseworkers, as well as with other employees in the unit and organization, as well as with external partners.

Job Description
The position involves processing and authority exercise according to the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons (LSS) and the Social Services Act. Your main tasks will be to investigate, decide, and follow up on granted services. As an LSS caseworker, you will handle applications for both children and adults. The work is based on a holistic perspective around the individual and with their needs at the center, which is done in collaboration with relatives, healthcare, other authorities, and partners. In addition to the regular tasks, employees participate in various development work to move the organization forward.
Qualifications
To succeed in this fun and challenging job, it is a requirement that you have a degree in social work or another related higher education that the employer assesses as equivalent.
As a person, you have personal maturity and integrity, and you dare to stand by your assessments. You are quality-conscious and service-oriented, work meticulously, and take responsibility for ensuring that tasks are completed correctly. Experience working with the target group within LSS and experience in authority exercise or other investigative work is preferred. We also appreciate that you have good communication skills as you will have many contacts with clients, relatives, representatives, and other professionals. It is also important that you have a good command of the Swedish language in writing, as a large part of the work involves written documentation.
As the world is constantly changing, you also need to be flexible, proactive, and see challenges as something fun to solve. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability. A valid driver's license (B) is required.
About the Workplace
The Authority Department consists of about 75 employees, one department manager, and five unit managers. The department primarily works with authority exercise supported by SoL and LSS and is also responsible for processing applications for travel and national transport services, as well as implementing contact person and support family measures. The department employs LSS caseworkers, social psychiatry caseworkers, assistance caseworkers, transport caseworkers, housing coordinators, contact secretaries, fee caseworkers, and support staff.

Employment Type
