Blå Assistans is a nationwide non-profit organization that has been operating in a cooperative form since 1994.

The cooperative arranges personal assistance in accordance with the intentions of the LSS, the law that gives individuals with disabilities the "right to live like others." A personal assistant is a service profession that supports a person in living the life they wish.

Blå Assistans is the cooperative that is characterized by a good approach. Accessibility and good service are in focus to ensure the daily lives of our assistance users and employees. To ensure good competence among our employees, we offer continuous training in the field of personal assistance. We also engage in active work on the work environment. As an employer, we see it as a given that our employees are offered subsidized wellness programs.

I am a woman living in Åkersberga. Since I want a self-chosen and self-managed assistance, I have chosen Blå Assistans as my provider. Blå Assistans is the employer for my assistants, while I choose who to employ as my personal assistants. I schedule my assistance and determine the content of the assistants' work. My provider strives to ensure that both members, assistants, and administrative staff have the competence required for their tasks.

In your employment, you are required to participate in training mandated by the employer.

One position includes 7 hours/week, which is 17.5% distributed over one shift/week. Additional working hours may be offered as needed during the absence of another regular assistant.

In addition, I am also looking for summer substitutes who can work when my regular assistants take vacation during the summer. Please indicate the extent to which you wish and can work and during which period.

Working hours are scheduled during the day, evenings, and weekends.

Preferably, you live north of Stockholm since I live in Åkersberga. However, the work can start or end at other locations. There may be opportunities to accompany on trips.

As the work involves assisting me with various sensitive tasks, I need to hire a woman.

As a personal assistant to me, you should be comfortable in various contexts and environments both indoors and outdoors. The work requires that you can switch between being active and passive and that you are comfortable staying in the background when required. You should be able to follow instructions easily, both verbally and in writing. It is important that you enjoy practical tasks both inside and outside the home.

It is advantageous if you are interested in cooking and/or gardening.

In the work with me, it is important that you are meticulous and respect time. You cannot be allergic to chlorine or animals and you must not be a smoker.

As a personal assistant, you work under confidentiality.

Interviews will be conducted on an ongoing basis, so employment may occur before the application deadline.
