The work at Tur och Retur is an employment opportunity within social psychiatry, governed by the individual's need for support to achieve the goals set for the intervention.

The work involves planning, implementing, and being a support in activities, both individually and in groups.

We offer our users activities in crafts, primarily wood and textile, Lego work, a recycling shop, kitchen, etc. We work according to ESL, an independent life.

Your role

In the work, a pedagogical approach is used to create conditions for a life where the person's skills are utilized and difficulties are compensated. This means that you adapt your response, your approach, and the environment for the person with disabilities.

To ensure quality in the interventions carried out, staff work purposefully with action plans and methods. Individual implementation plans are established based on orders, and documentation of the work is done in social journals.

The action plans, routines, and schedules established for the individual's daily work are guiding. With the support of colleagues, you collaborate with important contacts for the users. In addition to the direct work with users, you also perform other tasks necessary for the operation to function.

Your competence and experience

We are looking for you who:

• are educated in crafts/carpentry
• have a high school education in nursing with a focus on psychiatry, alternatively a nursing assistant or mental health worker, within pedagogical or social work, or education that the employer finds equivalent.

It is advantageous if you have:

• knowledge of planning and implementing activities with users,
• current experience of working with people in social psychiatry, with autism, intellectual and/or neuropsychiatric disabilities,
• a goal-oriented working method with methods such as ESL, AAC, clarifying pedagogy, and low-arousal approach.
• experience in structuring individual picture/text schedules to clarify the day
• good computer skills
• a B driver's license

We are looking for you who are professional, pedagogical, solution-focused, and have an easy time collaborating with others. You also have a good ability to plan, structure, and prioritize daily work. The work requires that you can express yourself well in both spoken and written Swedish. IT and smart technology are an obvious part of the work.
