A well-functioning and stable specialist psychiatric outpatient clinic is looking for two social workers (one permanent position and one temporary position)

About us

We are a specialist psychiatric clinic that caters to adults over 18 years old in need of specialist psychiatric care, primarily residents of Täby municipality. We are located in Roslags Näsby with proximity to several transport links. The psychiatric outpatient clinic is seen as the foundation of the specialist psychiatric operation where the goal is, as far as possible, to investigate, diagnose, treat, and rehabilitate in the patient's local environment. The target group primarily consists of individuals with bipolar disorder, personality issues, anxiety, and depression, as well as assessment and treatment of ADHD.

The Role

As a social worker, you are the expert on psychosocial issues. You assist and support the patient in contact with other partners - such as the social insurance agency, employment agency, and social services. You map needs and interventions and follow up. The work may also include coordinated individual plans (SIP) and participation in collaboration groups. The job also involves documentation, scheduling, and other tasks at a psychiatric outpatient clinic based on competence and experience (e.g., as a group leader). We have a rehabilitation coordinator at the clinic (occupational therapist) with whom you will work closely regarding rehabilitation efforts - employment. Here, you also work closely with the medical team regarding follow-up on sick leave. You are also expected to inform and keep your colleagues updated in the psychosocial area and act consultatively.

Psychologists, doctors, nurses, psychotherapists, occupational therapists, medical secretaries, and a manager also work here.

About You

A degree in social work is required. We consider it an advantage for the position if you are a licensed health and medical care social worker and have experience working in psychiatry. Additionally, it is beneficial if you have knowledge of documenting in TakeCare. Particularly advantageous is if you are a trained rehabilitation coordinator. You are accustomed to and appreciate working independently. You can prioritize and want to contribute to an open environment, you are humble about the task and enjoy being part of a team. The job requires good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.

Employment Conditions Employment form:

One position with a permanent contract, starting with a 6-month probationary period.

One position that is a temporary contract starting immediately for about 1 year.
