Welcome to us

We are now seeking a new colleague for our investigation unit!

Here, we actively work on how you as an employee experience your work environment while keeping development in focus.

Children's participation is a central part of our work, and we have several children's rights representatives responsible for monitoring children's rights. We also have established interest groups where our employees can deepen their knowledge in their chosen areas of interest. The area of children and youth consists of employees who have a positive attitude towards work, support each other, and create joy at work even in tough situations. The area is part of the Department of Social Services and Leisure within Bromma City District Administration, responsible for the district's individual and family care, disability services, financial assistance, fieldwork, school social workers, prevention, and safety work, etc.

The Unit for Investigation of Children and Youth consists of two teams with 8 social workers in each team, two team leaders, a unit manager, and an administrative assistant. The unit belongs to the area of children and youth led by an area manager. The area is divided into four units, which also include two method developers and a mentor.

We offer

We offer you wellness benefits, the possibility of vacation exchange, and flexible working hours. As a new employee with us in the area of children and youth, you will receive a good introduction from our mentor regardless of your previous experience in the profession. The work requires good collaboration with other units within the organization as well as with external actors such as schools/preschools, child health centers, police, prosecutors, and child and adolescent psychiatry. As a social worker, you will have weekly meetings with your workgroup, individual case supervision, external supervision, and work closely with colleagues and the deputy unit manager.
