Waxö Omsorg is a small care company that offers support, service, and care to adults with cognitive and neuropsychiatric disabilities and individuals with acquired brain injuries.

The individual needs, desires, and integrity of each person guide all operations within Waxö Omsorg.

A key principle is that the care recipient should be offered the support they need to live as independently and fulfilling a life as possible.

We strive for the care recipients we are responsible for to achieve a high degree of independence and feel significant, participating in society just like other residents of the municipality.

Waxö Omsorg has a collective agreement with parties according to the Care and Support Agreement, Swedish Municipal Workers' Union Kommunal.

Waxö Omsorg is a member of the Association of Municipal Enterprises (KFS).

About the Workplace

Solna Day Activity offers daily activities according to the LSS 9 §10 intervention.

Solna DV provides activities such as Wellness, Music/Drama, and Creative activities for individuals with varying support needs. The support is performed and described in each care recipient's implementation plan and is based on their wishes and needs.

The work at Solna Day Activity is scheduled during the day, Monday to Friday. There are clear job descriptions for the staff, and as a new employee, you will receive an introduction to working with the care recipients.

We are currently looking for summer and hourly substitutes who can start working at Solna Day Activity.

About You

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience working in support and care, or education in the field.

• Is responsible, independent, and has a good ability to work in a team.

• Has a strong interest in working with people and understanding their individual needs.

• Is flexible and has a positive attitude even in challenging situations.

• Is good at documenting and following routines.

The care recipients have significant support needs, so it is an advantage if you have experience in care tasks such as meals, hygiene, mobility, and communication. Also, assistive devices like standing scales, walking aids, etc.
