THE UNIT FOR PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES works with authority functions for individuals under 65 years of age with some form of disability in Ekerö municipality. The unit consists of two teams with 5-6 caseworkers each; one team handles applications and follows up on interventions for individuals within social psychiatry and neuropsychiatry. The other team processes applications for individuals with intellectual disabilities or some form of mobility impairment/disease. In addition, there is a housing and contract coordinator and a unit manager.

We are now looking for a substitute for a longer-term position in the team that handles and investigates applications within social psychiatry/neuropsychiatry for young adults and up to 65 years. We are centrally located in Ekerö center, 15 minutes from Brommaplan or 5 minutes from the Ferry Terminal Jungfrusund (Ekeröleden).
With us, you will work with the following tasks:
- Authority functions, qualified investigations, and assessments of applications according to LSS and SoL
- Collaboration with both external and internal partners to strengthen the individual's opportunities to live an independent life
- Opportunity to actively participate in developing the unit's quality and development work.
We work with regular case supervision in groups, method meetings, and apply mentorship for new employees. You will have regular check-ins with your manager. We have external process guidance and legal support.

Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- a university degree in social work or another equivalent education
- knowledge of current legislation within SoL and LSS
- good computer skills (including Office 365)
Previous experience in authority functions is an advantage, but for those new to the field, we are here to support you in your new professional role.
Experience with MI conversation methodology is also an advantage.
It is essential for us that you have a genuine interest in disability issues.
