You support employees through prioritization, guidance, and coaching in everyday life and contribute to a good work environment by creating conditions that promote job satisfaction and health.
Together with your colleagues in the management team for the unit, you take overall responsibility for residents in need of support in Nynäshamn municipality. You collaborate closely with the group managers within the reception and with other parties both internally and externally.
About the Workplace
The main mission of the Social Administration is to offer individualized support and services in elderly care, disability, children and family, adults, and financial assistance. We are present for the municipality's residents throughout all stages of life.
The Social Administration has undergone an organizational change to better meet the intentions of the new social services act, where all authority exercises have been gathered within the areas of individual and family care, elderly care, and disability, and a common reception has been created. At the same time, a social support department has been created where outpatient care, promotional and preventive measures have been gathered.
The common reception is divided into three workgroups, each with a group manager: adults where financial assistance is included, children and youth where family law is included, and administration. In the spring, the reception will be supplemented with expertise from elderly care and disability. The department will work in a team-based manner to gain a comprehensive view and provide residents with coordinated support.
The reception for children and youth consists of four social workers who make preliminary assessments of children and youth and handle urgent cases outside ongoing investigations, and three social workers who work with family law. Within the groups, there is a lot of competence, long experience, and a strong drive to develop the operations.
