Personal assistance is an intervention according to LSS (The Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to individuals who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each client is unique, and your tasks vary based on the client's needs. You respect the client's self-determination and integrity and contribute to a smooth daily life.

About the position

The role of a personal assistant places high demands on the ability to create good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take your own initiatives and see what needs to be done.

The client needs help with most tasks such as cleaning, cooking, personal hygiene, and transfers. She can become tired quickly and needs someone who is calm and self-sufficient.

We are now looking for someone who meets the following:

• wants to work with a woman in her 60s living in Åkersberga
• has good knowledge of Swedish
• has previous experience from similar work
• has previous experience with transfers
• is tolerant of cats

It is also meritorious if you:

• have a B driver's license

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Working hours, employment rate, and salary:

The position is a summer temporary position and is on average about 50%. The position involves work during weeks 29-34 where the schedule is:

Full-time (Mon-Fri 9-5) week 28 and 29. Week 27, 30, 31, 32, 33, 34 only weekend shifts Saturday 9-4 and Sunday 9-3.

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other compensation is according to collective agreements.

Being employed at Humana

A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you can present valid ID and any documents that prove your right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.

According to legislation, we as employers are required to request a background check from all employees who will work as personal assistants for a child under 18 years. Therefore, you need to present an extract from the police's criminal record before a potential employment. Further information will be provided if you proceed in the recruitment process.
