Stockholm – our capital city with millions of dreams

We work for everyone living here today and in the future. We are now looking for you who want to think big, new, and differently with us – for the people of Stockholm.

Skarpnäck's district administration offers you a workplace where active employee participation and clear leadership are the foundation for providing the best service to the people of Stockholm. Since we collectively create our work environment, openness, respect, and responsiveness are essential.

Welcome to us

We have LSS accommodations in our own management and need to recruit summer substitutes for our well-functioning operations during June - August, either full-time or part-time.

Since 2024, we also have operations in social psychiatry where we will need substitutes during the summer.

We offer

You will have a varied job in our group homes where 5-6 adults with disabilities live in their own apartments, and in social psychiatry at supported housing where staff support in their own homes. Working hours are varied, including days, evenings, and weekends. We also have awake night shifts and on-call duty at our accommodations. Our wish is that you can work for most of the summer.

Your role

As a support assistant, you will work to support, motivate, and assist users in their daily lives and help clarify and interpret everyday situations. The work is characterized by a pedagogical approach, a clear and structured working method, and a low-arousal response. As a support assistant, you will provide pedagogical and practical support for social activities, household chores, personal care, and transfers. You will also participate in the quality development of the operations and attend various meetings, training sessions, and supervision.

Your qualifications and experience

You should have a high school education in health and social care, child and leisure programs, or other education deemed equivalent. Experience in the profession and knowledge of LSS or social psychiatry is an advantage. You should have knowledge of low-arousal responses and approaches. Knowledge and experience of AAC, clarifying pedagogy, and tracheostomy are also advantageous.

Other

When you apply for a job with us, we will ask you to present an extract from the police criminal record. You need to request the extract yourself via the police website: Check your own information (polisen.se). The extract we want to see is called "Check of your own information in the criminal record." Once you have received your extract, you will present it to the recruiting manager if you are called for an interview.

Do not hesitate to submit your application as interviews and selections are ongoing. We recruit without a personal letter. Write a line in our application form about why you want to work with us and what you have done previously, and upload an updated CV with information about your activities.

The department is HBTQi certified and the operations are accredited.
