Your mission

We work on behalf of the commissioning unit Funk/LSS and social psychiatry, providing support to individuals with various disabilities such as intellectual disabilities, psychiatric diagnoses, autism spectrum disorders, and/or ADHD who live independently around Haninge municipality.

The tasks are guided by the assignment and may involve support in official matters. It can also involve daily support at home or with grocery shopping. Our goal is to enhance the person's ability to become as secure and independent as possible.

As a substitute, you will work with clients already known to the organization, where the purpose of our intervention is clearly formulated in an implementation plan and routines are established. There is always a colleague or group leader available if questions arise during your shift.

We usually work on weekdays, but there may be some weekend shifts. We hope you can start in April. Our office is centrally located in Handen next to the commuter train station.

This position is a summer substitute with the possibility of extension.

What we are looking for in you

• Some form of basic healthcare education
• Experience working with the target group
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language is required as we have documentation responsibilities
• You have a B driver's license

Most importantly, you are calm and secure in yourself and have a good demeanor, where you can guide people in everyday life in a pedagogical/clear and humble manner. It is important to us that you are a stable person who enjoys meeting individuals with different conditions and needs. You see opportunities rather than obstacles and have an empathetic approach.

We also place great emphasis on personal suitability and value your ability to collaborate with other colleagues in the organization.

A driver's license is a requirement, as we have a vehicle in the organization. We also use public transport here in Haninge when it works according to our clients' addresses.
