Do you want meaningful work that makes a difference in people's lives?
Welcome to the municipality that is far from average!
Botkyrka Municipality is the sixth largest municipality in Stockholm County and consists of the districts Alby, Fittja, Hallunda, Norsborg, Tullinge, Tumba, Vårsta, and Grödinge. Botkyrka Municipality has approximately 95,000 inhabitants and over 6,400 employees.
The Social Administration provides support to the residents of Botkyrka and is responsible for authority exercise, primarily according to the Social Services Act. The support is for both individuals and their relatives. The Social Administration has a special responsibility for children, youth, and adults in need of support according to social legislation. We are about 500 employees who, with strength-based methods, provide support to the residents of Botkyrka in an equitable, fair, and safe manner.
The Position and Responsibilities
Do you want to help drive a requested and appreciated collaboration model SSPF (school, social services, police, and leisure), fully in line with the new Social Services Act? Do you have the courage to lead and create a Botkyrka where we work preventively? Then you are warmly welcome to apply!
SSPF is a collaborative structure where work around youth at risk and their families is strengthened in cooperation between various actors.
You will support and motivate youth involved in SSPF and engage their networks. The work aims to provide early support before problems escalate.
SSPF is in an implementation phase. It aims to work preventively with individuals exhibiting risky behavior and establish a network and collaboration with SSPF actors who meet the individual in various ways. SSPF is a non-assistance assessed intervention.
As an SSPF Coordinator, you will belong to the open care unit for children and youth. The unit consists of family therapists, therapists for the MiniMaria group, coordinators for contact persons, and youth service therapists.
As a coordinator, you will be responsible for the child/youth's planning and maintain close contact with the child/youth and guardians. You will activate the network around the child/youth, establish individual action plans, follow up on decisions made, and convene and lead operational meetings.
Your primary task will be to network and coordinate to prevent the individual from experiencing negative development. This involves working with the family and SSPF actors to motivate the individual towards the proposed planning. Part of the work may involve obtaining consent to collaborate according to SSPF.
Some examples where we want to work preventively as early as possible include:
- Measures in school for better schooling
- Assistance for a meaningful leisure time
- Support for parents in discussions about rules and boundaries
- Help to refrain from drugs through contact with MiniMaria
- Collaboration around individuals committing crimes.
We Offer You

Since this is a new operation, you will have the opportunity to help shape the position based on the transition to the new Social Services Act. You will also be offered methodological support and professional development. We have regular team meetings, reflection time, collegial case supervision, and external supervision. We have a 39-hour work week and annual working hours. Some form of remote work is possible.
We collaborate through sports, with opportunities to do yoga together, play football, or engage in other fun activities to enhance collaboration between units in the Social Administration. As a new employee, you will undergo an introductory program.
