Botkyrka Municipality is the sixth largest municipality in Stockholm County and consists of the districts of Alby, Fittja, Hallunda, Norsborg, Tullinge, Tumba, Vårsta, and Grödinge. Botkyrka Municipality has approximately 95,000 inhabitants and over 6,400 employees.

The Social Administration provides support to the residents of Botkyrka and is responsible for authority exercise, primarily according to the Social Services Act. The support is for both individuals and relatives. The Social Administration has a special responsibility for children, young people, and adults in need of support according to social legislation. We are about 500 employees who, with strength-based working methods, provide support to the residents of Botkyrka in an equitable, fair, and safe manner.

The Position and Responsibilities

Are you looking for a complex and rewarding job in family treatment? We are now seeking a family therapist for our Open Care Family unit, which is part of the social services' open care aimed at children and families.

At Open Care Family, 20 people work, and here we conduct family therapy, parental support, victim support, and support for children affected by violence. We also work to gather family networks for network meetings.

We are now looking for a family therapist focused on family treatment work, where you also have knowledge to work network-oriented, e.g., Network Gathering meetings. The workgroup primarily works with Advice and Support and offers Family Therapy/support conversations without a granted intervention. We also receive certain assignments from our investigation units and have the opportunity to work closely with investigators already in the investigation phase. We offer support to children and parents in the form of individual, supportive, and therapeutic conversations based on a systemic foundation. In your role, you will participate in the unit's work as a family therapist in various constellations, from a holistic perspective and with a focus on working towards all child pathway activities.

Your Daily Responsibilities Include:

• Conducting various types of crisis conversations both during larger events and individual crises in the family.
• Being a network leader for various network gathering meetings where both officials and citizens in the municipality meet, such as Family Councils and Network meetings with families.
• Developing and conducting training on the theme of Network Work.
• Welcoming families to our Advice and Support area, which involves having therapeutic conversation meetings with families in need of support.
• Collaborating with all different activities in the municipality, such as schools, preschools, and other social services, as well as external actors like child psychiatry, healthcare, etc.
• Meeting parents in conflict and offering the conversation model Whole Child.

Within the Social Administration, we base our work on systemic theoretical perspectives and according to the Signs of Safety approach, with the goal that this should permeate all our activities. The unit works closely with the Investigation units, and great importance is placed on working in teams around our families and tailoring the support that each individual family and child needs.

You will be part of our dedicated team consisting of five colleagues, but you will also be part of the Open Care Family unit, primarily focused on working with families where violence has occurred. The unit consists of 20 employees, of which two are team leaders and one unit manager. We offer regular external supervision to strengthen you in your professional role. You Who Are Applying to Us

Requirements: You have a degree in social work or a behavioral science higher education of 180 HP that the employer assesses to be equivalent.

Further requirements for the position are:

• You have experience with the tasks included in the role of family therapist.
• You have experience leading network gathering meetings and training in the area, e.g., network leader training is meritorious.
• You have a B driver's license.

We consider it meritorious to have:

• Further education in treatment.
• Knowledge of Signs of Safety and ORS, SRS, and systemic family therapy training.
• Training as a Whole Child conversation leader.

You see families and clients as partners and find ways to achieve good collaboration. You have an analytical approach and the ability to see holistic perspectives and contexts with a focus on clients' short- and long-term needs. To develop the unit's work, you also need to have the ability to structure, plan, and organize your work well. The position requires the ability to work both independently and in a team. As a person, you are solution-oriented with the capacity to create safety in your relationships and show persistence when needed.

We would like you to have cultural competence to meet Botkyrka's multicultural contexts and preferably speak more languages than Swedish and English.
