At Frösunda Omsorg, we are looking for you who want to work as a summer substitute support worker at Söderby Gärde Group Homes in Salem. Would you like to be part of our team? Then you are warmly welcome to submit your application!

As a support worker, you will work at one of our residences to support, motivate, and stimulate the individual's own ability to perform daily activities. You will provide each customer with individually tailored support that helps them create structure, routines, and planning in their daily lives.

The support is granted for individuals with various types of disabilities, which is why the individuals' skills, needs, and development guide our efforts. The goal is to create conditions for an active and meaningful life in a safe and pleasant environment.

The tasks of a support worker include documentation, establishing implementation plans, and being a contact person. Examples of tasks:

• Daily chores such as cleaning, shopping, cooking, making beds
• Documentation and reporting
• Outings, walks, exercise, and activities
• Personal care such as hygiene, showering, toilet visits, support, social presence
• Support and motivate the customer for increased independence in their daily life

Working hours are scheduled according to the customers' needs and vary between day, evening, and night shifts, both weekdays and weekends.

The two group homes at Söderby Gärde are ideally located in a quiet residential area with beautiful walking paths and nature areas just outside the door. A stone's throw away are swimming spots and a variety of recreational opportunities. Despite the quiet location, it is close to services and shops. Three kilometers to the east is Tumba center, and central Salem is just two kilometers in the other direction.

We are looking for someone with a big heart and a desire to make a difference. We would like you to enjoy working with people and have a strong sense of service. Additionally, you should easily collaborate with others and have the ability to be flexible and responsive when needed.

• We prefer that you are a nursing assistant, preschool teacher, or have another equivalent education.
• Previous experience working with LSS and care experience is highly meritorious.
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, is required.
• We would like you to have good physical ability.

Employment type: Fixed-term employment as a summer substitute during the period of June-August 2025.

Extent: Part-time

Start date: Introduction in April or May 2025, summer substitute according to agreement during the period of June-August 2025.

We apply individual salary setting and have a collective agreement. Interviews are conducted continuously, and the position may be filled before the application deadline. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

If you are not a citizen of Sweden, the EU, EEA, or Switzerland, you must be able to prove that you have a valid work permit or are exempt from the requirement to have a work permit. Employment can only occur after verification of the work permit, as required by the Aliens Ordinance.
