The Authority for the Elderly and Disability has the mission to provide high-quality care for the elderly and disabled in Tyresö.

The authority is divided into two units, one of which is the unit for Disability Authority. In this unit, there are 10 LSS caseworkers, 3 SoL caseworkers, 2 team leaders, and one unit manager. The LSS caseworkers are divided into children’s and adult groups.

We are urgently looking for a temporary LSS caseworker and are seeking someone who enjoys working in a team with a focus on development and improvement work. The position is a parental leave cover and extends until August 2026.

We are a happy and stable workgroup that enjoys going to work and has low staff turnover. A balance between work and leisure is important to us, as well as having a good working climate in a sustainable work situation.

About the Position

As an LSS caseworker, you will be responsible for investigating, making decisions, and following up on all measures according to the Act on Support and Service (LSS). Some applications are also processed according to the Social Services Act (SoL). Collaboration with internal and external partners is important to us and for our Tyresö residents, which means you will participate in several collaboration meetings regarding the Tyresö residents you support. We believe that the best services are improved and developed directly by the employees who work in the processes, and therefore you will also work with improvement and development issues in your daily work.

The position is a parental leave cover starting on June 9, 2025, and extends until August 2026.

Who Are You?

You have a degree in social work or equivalent education in behavioral science, law, and social work.

As a person, you are structured with the ability to flexibly adapt to new conditions. You enjoy and have a knack for collaborating with many different types of people, and it is easy for you to build relationships with those you meet. To succeed in the role, you are good at expressing yourself both verbally and in writing, and you easily adapt your communication to the person you are meeting.
