What We Do and Want

We are now looking for a support assistant for a 75% employment rate for our service apartments for people with disabilities combined with mental health issues.

In a service apartment, individuals live in their own apartment near the service facility and manage large parts of their daily living independently. In the workplace, you will work partly alone, meaning that even though you have colleagues, you rarely work simultaneously. This places high demands on the collaboration and communication skills of the person we are looking for.

About the Position

The operations are based on LSS, and the support is based on individually designed implementation plans. The support in the operations can be both practical and social in nature and takes place both in the residents' apartments and out in the community.

In addition to the practical work with the target group, administrative tasks such as social documentation and deviation management are also included.

The work also involves simpler medical tasks that require delegation from a nurse associated with the operation.

The positions involve irregular working hours during the day, evenings, and part of the weekend (every other Sunday).

Who Are You?

To succeed in this role, you should be trained as a support assistant, caregiver, nursing assistant, or preschool teacher, with a focus on disabilities/special education. We are looking for someone with documented knowledge and at least two years of experience with adults with intellectual disabilities and psychiatry.

As a person, you are calm and secure. You have the ability to adapt your working methods to the situation. Furthermore, you are attentive, structured, and thrive when many different things happen simultaneously. We also place great importance on personal suitability.

It is an additional merit if you have knowledge in MI, clear pedagogy, and low-arousal approaches. Since the work places high demands on communication and involves administrative tasks, you need to master Swedish in both speech and writing.
