As two of our colleagues will be on parental leave, we are looking for 2 new team members to join our wonderful group at the Youth Authority.

Your tasks

Your main tasks as a social worker at the Youth Authority are to conduct investigations according to Chapter 11, Section 1 of the Social Services Act and to follow up on approved interventions for children and young people aged 12-20 and their families. We work as far as possible with voluntariness and consent, but in some cases, we are required to handle cases with the support of LVU (the Care of Young People Act).
We have clear and legally secure processes as well as well-established routines that support systematic work. We work according to the BBIC investigation method and use the data system Combine. Here, you belong to a workgroup with high satisfaction and community.

- You have a strong commitment and knowledge in public authority regarding children and youth.
- You can remain calm and professional in stressful situations.
- You have a good attitude towards both clients and colleagues and partners.
- You have the ability to analyze situations and make independent decisions based on applicable legislation and guidelines.
- You value differences and understand that different backgrounds and cultures can affect yourself and others in various ways.
- You are responsible and work according to Södertälje municipality's values, where we respect all people regardless of, for example, age, gender, ethnicity, religion, disability, and sexual orientation.
- You are engaged, motivated, and innovative, which means you use your knowledge and abilities to develop the organization.

Requirements:
- Degree in social work.
- Excellent knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form.
- Good computer skills (e.g., Office package).
- B driver's license.

Meritorious:
- Experience in social work with children/youth.
- Experience working within social services, preferably with public authority.
- Training in Signs of Safety.
