An opportunity for an experienced Technical IT Manager is now available, focusing on the operation, development, and strategic management of IT systems and digital services within educational activities. The role involves acting as the central link between the organization and IT, responsible for ensuring quality, availability, and further development of the technical solutions used daily within the school organization.

You will work structured according to the PM3 model, with a responsibility that combines operational coordination with strategic work. The position offers great variety where you can contribute to the future of school IT with both technical understanding and business insight.

🎯 Responsibilities in the role

• Lead and coordinate ongoing management assignments and smaller IT-related initiatives
• Prioritize and allocate incoming cases related to IT operations and development
• Participate in budgeting and planning for the upcoming operational year
• Perform information classification, needs analysis, and technical risk assessments
• Be responsible for lifecycle management of existing systems, including follow-up and improvement proposals
• Work closely with the IT-based tools and cloud services used within the school environment

✅ Mandatory requirements

To be considered for the assignment, the following must be met and clearly stated in your CV or application:

• Documented experience as a Technical IT Manager in a similar environment
• Solid knowledge of PM3 or similar management model
• Ability to work independently and goal-oriented, as well as take leadership for smaller groups or sub-areas
• 4–8 years of experience in the role or in related technical management
• You must be fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written
• Swedish citizenship is a requirement due to security requirements

The following competencies are considered valuable in the assessment and can distinguish candidates in the selection process:

• Practical experience in managing cloud-based solutions and related risk assessments
• Knowledge in Google Cloud and Google Classroom configuration
• Experience with IST Administration or similar school administrative tools
• Worked with integrations according to SS12000 standard
• Deep understanding of school-specific IT systems, from operation to support and further development

• Scope: 100% full-time
• Location: Linköping (with the possibility of 40% remote work per week)
• Start: 2025-05-01
• End date: 2025-12-31
• Security requirements: The assignment requires the consultant to be a Swedish citizen
