Your Responsibilities

Väderstad AB is undergoing an exciting transformation journey with a focus on globalization and digitalization, and is therefore looking for a CAD/PLM Application Specialist who wants to be part of this.

As an application specialist at Väderstad, you will be part of a team consisting of application specialists and system architects. The team has a broad area of responsibility that includes system support within ERP, PLM, CAD, and BI. Your focus will be on CAD and PLM, where you, together with your colleagues, are responsible for both managing our systems (Creo, Windchill, etc.) and participating in various projects related to Väderstad's transformation work. You will work broadly within CAD/PLM, but also more specialized within a limited number of areas, primarily within PLM (Windchill).

Examples of tasks:

• Participate in Väderstad's globalization project where our new business platform is implemented across the group

• Participate in or drive assignments and smaller projects aimed at further developing our solutions

• In close collaboration with the business, perform ongoing management work, such as

• Troubleshooting, problem-solving, and consulting

• Requirements analysis and solution design

• Configuration, customization, and new development

• Ensuring stable operation and availability

• Planning and executing updates and releases

• Collaborate with external suppliers

• Work proactively through, among other things, market monitoring

• Work on continuous improvements

The position is located in Väderstad or Linköping (Mjärdevi).

Your Profile

We are looking for someone with at least three years of experience working with CAD and PLM systems, preferably with experience in Windchill. You have good knowledge of the processes supported by the systems, such as manufacturing industry, product development, and mechanical design. Knowledge and experience in technology and system development are also advantageous.

We believe you have an engineering degree, for example in mechanical engineering, or equivalent work experience. If you also have experience in project management or coordination, that is a plus. You have good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

The role is varied, requiring you to take significant personal responsibility and have your own drive. Furthermore, it is important that you are communicative and enjoy collaborating, where one of your main driving forces is customer benefit and problem-solving.
