We are now looking for an Application Specialist Business Systems for our service office in Skänninge, who has great drive and commitment and is passionate about creating customer and business value through digitalization, both internally and externally. As an application specialist, you will work in a business-oriented and communicative role, collaborating closely with large parts of the organization and becoming an important player in our operations.

You will work on developing and managing several applications throughout their life cycle, primarily in the area of business systems. This includes ERP, supply chain, inventory, and logistics, as well as systems related to them. There will also be opportunities to work with other applications in the company and cross-functionally with Europris in Norway.

Main Responsibilities;

• Act as a specialist in several applications and areas.
• Participate in the entire life cycle of the applications, from needs and requirements, procurement and design, new and further development, testing and deployment, to decommissioning.
• Drive and act on incident, problem, and case management.
• Participate in ensuring that action plans are implemented effectively, with high quality, and create added value for us and our customers.
• Collaborate with designated specialists within the business and the IT department.
• Act as an IT purchaser and ensure collaboration with IT suppliers and partners.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has a holistic perspective and the ability to understand systems and processes from start to finish. We prefer that you have a college or university degree with a specialization in IT or equivalent experience. You have documented experience in leadership fundamentals regarding project and management leadership. To succeed in this role, you need to have some technical expertise to solve the tasks.

It is advantageous if you have;

• Experience in service procurements and contracts.
• Experience in IT solutions and processes within assortment, purchasing, and logistics, preferably with a focus on retail, as these are areas where we plan significant development.
• Experience with ERP systems, primarily Infor M3.
• Experience with financial processes.
• Experience with master data.

The position is located at our service office in Skänninge and the role reports directly to the IT manager.

The position will be filled as soon as possible or by agreement, and we apply a 6-month probationary period.
