Kriminalvården is expanding – we are building new facilities, renovating, and adding on, and we are now looking for more employees. The IT workplace group is a team consisting of a stable core of IT technicians, service managers, technical architects, and coordinating IT technicians. We are responsible for managing PCs, laptops, and their platforms. The group handles installations, service card functionality, certification, testing of hardware and software, changes to hardware and software, and replacement of hardware and its accessories. The group is a 3rd line grouping and takes care of issues that our 1st and 2nd line support cannot resolve. As part of this group, you will work with positive, engaged, and knowledgeable colleagues who have a strong drive to do a good job and contribute to our operations.

The group works together to ensure that the authority has modern, user-friendly, and secure solutions that facilitate everyday operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for a Service Manager to manage and develop our IT workplace services. As a Service Manager, you will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and refinement of our IT workplace services to ensure they function smoothly and efficiently for our users. You will collaborate closely with other team members and external suppliers to ensure that the system meets our requirements and needs. The role also involves collaborating with a wide group of stakeholders.

QUALIFICATIONS

You work towards goals and focus on results. Furthermore, you can analyze complex issues and thus solve complicated problems.

We are looking for someone who has:

• Completed upper secondary education or equivalent education combined with work experience that Kriminalvården deems relevant
• Experience in the IT workplace technology area (software and hardware)
• Experience in developing and following up budgets
• Experience in managing and leading assignments
• Experience in managing and leading others
• Experience in environmental scanning and providing suggestions for the way forward in the area
• Experience working with and managing IT suppliers
• Good knowledge of IT workplace components
• Good knowledge of IT workplace services and how they form a whole within infrastructure
• Knowledge of IT security
• Ability to express yourself well in spoken and written Swedish
• Ability to express yourself well in spoken and written English

It is advantageous if you have:

• Certifications in relevant technology and system administration
• Experience working according to ITIL and PM3
• Experience working within Kriminalvården
• Basic knowledge of ITIL
• Knowledge of networks and servers

OTHER

We have high demands on our employees' security and confidentiality awareness. To work with us, you need to undergo a security clearance in accordance with the Security Protection Act. The position is classified in a security class, and a security clearance including a security interview with a background check will be conducted before a hiring decision is made. During the security clearance, you will be investigated as a person, your background, and your relationships from a security perspective.
