In the Technical Management Unit for Healthcare Systems, which is part of the Center for Medical Technology and IT, we manage some of Region Östergötland's large and small IT systems with a focus on healthcare systems. We are now looking for a technical system administrator who will be a key person in managing systems primarily within the management object Imaging. In this role, you will mainly focus on systems that handle the storage and processing of medical images and videos, for example, in radiology. Our management model follows pm3.

Job Description

As a technical system administrator, you are responsible for the functionality of the systems and work on system improvements, operations, maintenance, and support. You will also work on new installations, upgrades, and other types of improvement work. You solve cases as part of our third line, including against end-users, and support the first and second lines with knowledge and routines to streamline the work. Close collaboration with your colleagues in the team is important, and you will also work with many different people and functions in our various operations within Region Östergötland. Furthermore, you will participate in projects and/or investigations to continuously improve and optimize our IT landscape.

About You

To succeed with us, we believe you have experience in the IT industry with a focus on IT operations. You feel confident in your technical skills but are also driven to develop and keep updated on new technologies. You are a person with a natural problem-solving ability and feel secure in your role as a technician. You are engaged in your work, contribute to a positive atmosphere in the workplace, and enjoy working both in a team and independently. Since you work with various people and functions in the organization, you have a good ability to describe and present complex structures in an educational way. You understand the value of sometimes lifting your gaze from the operational and seeing problems from a strategic perspective and communicating that to others. You are quality-conscious and solution-focused, which is evident in how you plan, organize, and prioritize your work effectively to achieve goals and results. You have good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

We believe that in addition to your general broad IT knowledge, you have experience with Windows server, client, and networking. A B driver's license is required as travel in the job to, for example, health centers or other hospitals may occur. We will place great emphasis on your personal qualities.
