ABOUT THE POSITION:

Saab is a global defense and security company active in air, land, and naval defense, civil security, and commercial aviation technology. Technically, they are leading in many areas, and one-fifth of their revenue goes to research and development. We are currently looking for you who have just graduated or will soon graduate and are interested in working on developing software for both current and future Gripen aircraft. You will be part of the development of everything from navigation systems, fault monitoring, and landing support to data handling in the black box and several other critical flight systems. In the group, there are no dedicated testers, so you will both write and test your own code, often in collaboration with other departments.

You will belong to a cross-functional, senior team where you will receive solid training and have your own mentor. Your development is rewarded, and in the long run, there are great opportunities for the right person to develop towards becoming, for example, a function owner, systems engineer, architect, team lead, or project manager.

TASKS:

You will work with:

• Software development in C/C++, Pascal, and Matlab Simulink
• Development tests in rigs and simulators
• Modeling, testing, debugging, and documentation of code
• Requirements breakdown of systems

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO:

• Have a relevant university degree, such as computer science, engineering physics, electronics, or similar
• Have good programming skills, preferably in C/C++, Pascal, or Matlab Simulink
• Have fluent knowledge of Swedish and English, as both languages are used in daily work

If you have work experience in software development, control engineering, or testing, or have your own programming projects from your spare time, it is highly meritorious.

ABOUT THE EMPLOYMENT:

This position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the current regulations for security protection. For positions where our client has requirements for security classification, this may, in certain cases, entail requirements for specific citizenship.
