Onsite Technician for the Defense Industry in Linköping

Responsibilities

In the role of onsite technician, you will be an important part of the daily IT delivery on-site – both by supporting end users and ensuring that conference rooms and common areas function as they should. In other words, you are a key person in creating a smooth and efficient workday for your colleagues.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Supporting users onsite when remote assistance is not sufficient
• Installing and delivering computers, phones, and other client-side IT equipment
• Handling VIP cases and urgent needs with high professionalism
• Documenting in the ticketing system and knowledge database
• Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues
• Contributing during major outages and security incidents
• Supporting printers and conference equipment
• Ensuring high quality in the delivery from local Onsite Support

Your Profile and Qualifications

Requirements

• Previous experience in similar IT support roles
• Good technical understanding and ability to prioritize in a changing environment
• A service-oriented and solution-focused approach
• Ability to work independently, but also good collaboration skills
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Valid driver's license (required)

Experience from larger organizations with complex IT environments is an advantage. The position is subject to security clearance according to the Security Protection Act. There may also be requirements for certain citizenship depending on the nature of the assignment.
