Aeronautics IT is part of the Aeronautics business area at Saab, which develops and produces cutting-edge products in both civil and military aviation, with the JAS Gripen being the most well-known and talked about.

They are responsible for the operation, management, and development of Aeronautics' development and production environments, as well as their components such as servers, storage, networks, databases, and clients.

About the role

As a System Administrator at SAAB Aeronautics IT, you will be a key person in the team responsible for the management and further development of technical services for the Aeronautics business and will primarily work in the Windows operating system. Your mission includes ensuring the availability of systems and digital services, which places high demands on security, stability, and accuracy in the work performed. You will also have a central role in the delivery and support flow of IT services.

You will function as third-line support and will therefore not have any contact with the users of the systems, but you will handle incidents and problems that may arise. The role also involves initiating projects based on needs that may arise. This can be within lifecycle management if any hardware starts to become outdated and needs to be replaced. The work will primarily be performed in the Windows operating system with software management. Your role means that you will primarily work independently, but with support from a large expertise within your team.

We are looking for someone with…

• Previous experience in administering and troubleshooting Windows servers/clients
• Knowledge of Active Directory, GPO, and DNS
• 2-3 years of work experience as a System Administrator or equivalent role
• Good understanding of Swedish and English, both spoken and written

For this position, you are required to undergo and be approved according to applicable security protection regulations, which may require a certain citizenship.

Preferred qualifications for the position include experience with:

• Citrix
• Powershell
• VMware
• Microsoft Configuration Manager (SCCM)
• Monitoring systems (OP5)
• Cloudpage
• Relevant education (high school or university in IT)
