At the Swedish Migration Agency, we work with one of the major societal issues of our time – migration. We are about 6,000 people here, and we have an unusually important job!

Main Responsibilities

As a software developer with us, you will be welcomed by a platform team that works closely with other development teams. We work with agile methodologies and focus on automation while moving towards a loosely coupled, event-driven architecture. We are also implementing a modern, cloud-native platform based on Kubernetes and Docker.

Requirements

• Higher education in computer science, software engineering, or computer engineering with a bachelor's or master's degree, or equivalent previous degree, or other relevant educational background and work experience
• At least 2 years of professional experience in software development
• You have good communication skills and can express yourself well in spoken and written Swedish and English
• As the position will be classified in a security class, Swedish citizenship is also required. A security check with a background check will be conducted before employment.

Merits

• Professional experience in developing within a loosely coupled architecture
• Professional experience in developing for event streaming with the product Kafka
• Professional experience in developing microservices in a microservices architecture
• Knowledge in developing platform products and development tools
• Experience with container platforms (Kubernetes/Docker)

• Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery
