Technical System Administrator

We are now looking for a technical system administrator for the Platform Distribution unit who will be a key person in managing systems that are an important part of the delivery within the infrastructure and platform services area.

Job Description

As a technical system administrator, you will be responsible for the functionality of systems and work with system improvements, operations, and maintenance. You will also work with new installations, upgrades, and other types of improvement work. You will resolve issues as part of our third line and support the first and second lines with knowledge and routines to streamline work. Close collaboration with your colleagues in the team is important, and you will also work with many different people and functions in our various operations within Region Östergötland. Furthermore, you will participate in projects and/or investigations to continuously improve and optimize our IT landscape.

About You

To succeed with us, we believe that you have experience in the IT industry with a focus on IT operations. You feel confident in your technical skills but are also driven to develop and keep updated on new technologies. You are a person with a natural problem-solving ability and feel secure in your role as a technician. You are engaged in your work, contribute to a positive atmosphere in the workplace, and enjoy working both in teams and independently. Since you work with different people and functions in the organization, you have a good ability to describe and present complex structures in a pedagogical way. You understand the value of sometimes lifting your gaze from the operational and seeing problems from a strategic perspective and conveying that to others. You are quality-conscious and solution-focused, which is evident in your planning, organizing, and prioritizing your work effectively to achieve goals and results. You have good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
