The primary school/adapted primary school is part of the Education Administration. The operation includes 21 primary schools and adapted primary school, with a total of about 4500 students. Five of the primary schools are secondary schools, while the others, with a few exceptions, cover grades F-6. The operation also includes after-school care.

We are a small rural school with 83 students from preschool to grade 6. With us, you will have about 20 new colleagues, including teachers, special teachers, EHT teams, and caretakers.

Nykyrka is a rural school (grades F-6 and after-school care) with an international profile. The school is close to nature, and the schoolyard includes football fields and large play areas. The forest is also utilized in teaching various subjects. Together, staff and students work to create comfort, safety, and community. We participate in various EU projects and collaborate with schools in several other countries. We welcome foreign teacher candidates, which gives students fantastic opportunities to develop their English. Each student has access to their own tablet, which is used as a complement in teaching to achieve increased goal fulfillment.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a teacher, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating teaching based on the curriculum and course plan. You create a safe and inclusive learning environment and support, motivate, and stimulate students' knowledge development through varied working methods based on their individual conditions.

In teaching, you make a difference for our students by believing in their abilities, encouraging creativity and curiosity, and making it clear to each student that they can succeed in both big and small ways.

You work based on proven experience and research and strive for students to have the best possible development, both academically and socially. You carefully document students' performance and development.

You maintain contact and collaborate with guardians and other actors outside the school and inform guardians about students' development. Through systematic quality work, you work to ensure that set goals are achieved.

Together with your work team, you develop the school's mission and continuously promote collegial learning.

QUALIFICATIONS

You who are applying are a licensed teacher with the authority to teach within the relevant operation. You have a good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish. Experience working in primary school is considered an asset.

You organize and plan your work well, work according to a clear process where you complete what you have started. You set deadlines and meet them. You take the initiative in social contexts, step forward, and find it easy to create new relationships and maintain relationships.

You work well with others. You relate to them in a responsive and flexible way. You can adapt and find win-win solutions through an unpretentious focus on the common goal.
